Our little family of four (2 teens, mom and dad) were extremely happy recipients of a scholarship from Five Fish Foundation last year to attend Surfers Healing camp in Wrightsville NC (this is a one day camp for individuals in the ASD).
Our son, Matthew is a young man in the autism spectrum and our lives have been touched, changed and in many ways guided by autism. Some times it’s really hard for us, sometimes it’s pure bliss, but overall we have been blessed by angels–like our friends at Five Fish Foundation–with the amazing gift and the opportunity to attend this camp!
Seeing our Matthew smiling and enjoy the vacation was amazing and we are forever thankful for this experience.
